You need to be older to be able to afford them. Kid is older don't worry so much about the fancy clothes more money to burn buy a classic RA :-)

I feel sometimes like that driving the spec c, I'm 27.
Just got my first one at 30. As long as you like/enjoy it who cares :D
35 driving a RB5. I love my car and don't intend to sell it!
I really don't worry what others may think! |
I'm 55 and own a 2001 Bugeye. Power to the oldies.
60 next June. Had the T25 spec C for about 4 months.:)
I was 26 when I owned my widetrack sti. Cars are cars, enjoy what your drive, there is no age restriction on them.
If you have to ask the question you probably are too old. If it embarrasses you, you could always try driving your Scoob wearing a balaclava, or if that fails move it on and get a Merc. You have to be near death to be too old for one of those.

56 in October, scoobies for life for me
Bought my first one at 39 and thought the exhaust was to quiet so at 40 I fitted a blitz and pisses the neighbours off!!!
GOOD TIMES |
I'm 62, and I deeply don't care what anyone else might think about what I drive.
Exactly as others have said, if you enjoy it then that's all that really matters.
Why drive something based on other peoples opinions, its your car and your own opinion that count :) |
@ BBB3 and Paben - What do you both do regarding insurance for so many cars? Can you only use your no claims bonus against one car, and then have to pay full whack on the others?
Bought my first Subaru when I was 46, now I'm 48 and I love my Subaru cars especially driving my spec c on track.
I'm 49 and couldn't give a flying fcuk what people think about me or my cars, and haven't cared for years, strange how the older I get, the less I worry about other peoples opinions.
You're still a young un and obviously worry about what people think of you, my view is if they don't like it or me then they can sling their hook. Not into loud exhausts though as they just irritate me. WRX Wagon PPP daily V3 STI Type R in garage slowly being re-freshed and rebuilt for sprinting, trackdays and weekends. Isuzu Trooper for off roading and Paris Dakar style dirt tracking, only rolled it once.:D Honda 185 ATV for when I'm feeling brave. Life is too short to live by other peoples ideas of what is acceptable. |
