Does the knock link stay plugged in to the cig lighter? Or is there another way to wire?

Martin

SlowBoy 26 July 2015 10:41 AM

Could wire it like any other accessory by tapping into a switched live. The one on the back of the lighter socket for example.

Says on the website you need 2 for V6, V8 and boxer engines.

Price reduced to £155 for the knock analyser. These cost £282 new!
It's far cheaper than a rebuild should something go wrong
A small price to pay for peace of mind

matthewn 30 July 2015 08:48 PM

i wouldnt mind buying this but where would i put the sensor on my jdm v2 wrx?

Neil XR 30 July 2015 09:44 PM

micaredwrx 31 July 2015 04:45 PM

Wheels sold and collected.
Knock analyser sold pending payment.

S9900B 31 July 2015 04:53 PM

If that knock sensor falls through I'll have it off you mate cheers

micaredwrx 31 July 2015 09:04 PM

Completely off topic, but it's the very reason I rarely sell anything on forums, but...
Why do people say they're going to buy ones items then make up the most ridiculous excuses not to buy them?
I mean you wouldn't walk into Tescos then fill your trolley with food then get to the checkout and then say "I've changed my mind" I don't want this. You just wouldn't, would you?
For some mad reason it seems acceptable to do it on here though :/ Crazy!
I've only advertised two items and they've been sold a hundred times but only one guy had the decency to actually turn up and buy what he said he would (thanks).
Still waiting for the person who offered to buy the knock analyser to pay, although I'm not holding my breath :Whatever_

Neil XR 31 July 2015 09:25 PM

just in

sort out payment after my dinner

ScoobP1 31 July 2015 09:40 PM

Let me know if the KS-3 doesn't sell. I'll take it for £160 posted.

Neil XR 31 July 2015 09:51 PM

micaredwrx 01 August 2015 06:39 AM
