uk turbo showing as rb5

My car is showing up as an rb5 using my applied model code!

Its obviusly not, due to the colour. Anyone know why this would happen?

Wrong vin stuck on, or its had a respray

yeah thought that but theres no number plaque and the vin is the same as whats etched on the firewall. its quite strange. cheers

Sorry should have been clearer vin and applied model code are two different things, i expect its had the wrong AMC put on it

VIN is unique to the car, Applied model code is model specific.

The MY99 UK turbo and MY99 RB5 have the same applied model code.

The difference is the colour code
