Now, this could be a delicate subject - but a customer of mine has had troubles fitting a Magnex downpipe that we/I provided for his Scoob. Apparently it made the exhaust sit at the wrong angle.

Magnex said that a small minority of cars required a bracket adjustment which they did for our customer but it still didn't fit. They then said that the turbo need to be moved...ouch!...wouldn't do that with my scoob!

My question is - is this a well known problem or was this a 'one off'?

Reason for asking is that we may have a very 'cost effective' downpipe on the market soon but I need to sort out these basics first.

Cheers

Lump hammer :D

Can you not loose the twist in the other joints... I dont believe for 1 min that the turbo needs to move unless youve replaced the up pipe.... which I dont believe you have, otherwise youd say... maybe he has a crashed car! :D tell him to get it on a car'o'liner..

mmmm....sounds similar to what Magnex said.....

Although they were talking about loosening the turbo etc etc which I know I wouldn't on mine.

Main question is - do most people find that the Magnex downpipe just slots right in? I've heard that a 'major' car store accessory chain who used to offer free fitting on Magnex scooby downpipes have recently removed that offer...

I was hoping to offer a 'cost effective' solution that fits 'first time'.
