Parallel parking
 

Woken from my slumber this morning by some numptie backing and filling for a solid ten minutes, attempting to deposit his/her newish ford fiesta somewhere near the curb between two cars ( space was more than ample). I just had to get up to see the inevitable minor collision, and wasn't disappointed.

He was still couple feet off the pavement when he eventually decided to pull the plug , out of embarrassment and gave up moved off to blight someone else's night


I swear they taught this in my driving lessons. Is it maybe something you forget how to do :wonder:

It does seem to be a forgotten art

Learned some good parking tricks in Police driver training. I'm still not perfect but generally squeeze into little spots okay - not that I have to very often in Cornwall.

This bloke without doubt requires one those cars that parks itself

Some people consider it a sport.
