Carry bag on exhaust
So i noticed a funny smell this last couple of days - turns out i have a black bag stuck to my exhaust that has melted and wrapped its self around the exhaust
Whats best way to remove it And will it cause any harm just waiting for it to melt off (assuming it will) |
best bet is to just let it melt off, they do eventually but if not then good old fine 000 grade steel wool and some metal polish will do the job.
oh and maybe upgrade your bag next time, was it a Lidl one :) |
Lol
Its a black bin bag Stinks aswell buring plastic - yuk Will it cause any damage leaving it? Cheers |

Think yourself lucky it's just a bag, I scalped a Badger once. Many years ago in my 'Astra GTE 16v', poor blighter ran out in front of me and took the full force of the two threaded bars of the exhaust clamp (which were facing down) which removed part of his back and distributed badger juice on the exhaust system.
Every time it got hot for a good while after, the delicious smell of roast Badger would enter the vehicle. |
