MODS..... adverts !!!!

Can a mod please explain why I'm now seeing adverts all over the page even though I pay a monthly fee to disable them ???

scoobyboy1 27 June 2015 09:57 PM

Im getting them too, problem is there all from p0rn sites:Suspiciou Guess it works out all the sites ive been on the most and gives me the adverts for them!!:wonder:

Raptorman 28 June 2015 02:50 AM

Lol at the pron.

I must admit the ads are a complete joke, the forum on my
ipad is now squashed to one side as the ads take up half the page.

Markfey 28 June 2015 10:36 AM

Likewise on a mac book pro.

Even more reason not to pay anymore me thinks

Do you shout out the window when you want to call your missus when she's still out at the shops? :D Try the policy section if you want our attention rather than shouting "mods" in the general section. :thumb:

Its been reported since Friday. Nothing has been done, I don't know why. It is a cock up as the page layout is screwed up (menu bar that was at the bottom is now squished up to the right). I guess IB don't work weekends. Don't think for a second I'm happy about it; Its embarrassing.

Shouting mods in the general section often receives a response quicker Ali.

ALi-B 28 June 2015 12:05 PM

Judging by your swift edit, you seen that I had replied on Friday in policy on the same evening.

No worries, just pointing out that as its a slower moving section, new threads stay at the top longer so are more likely to be seen.

Install ad blocker on your computer - brilliant piece of kit, free and done in 2 mins :thumb:

https://adblockplus.org/

Never get any annoying adverts, here or anywhere else.

Highly recommend. :thumb:

alcazar 30 June 2015 05:30 AM

Doesn't stop the threads now being crammed onto 2/3 of the screen.

Come on IB, sort it, are are you too greedy?

Tidgy 30 June 2015 07:56 AM

SO what is going on, i pay a subscription to not have adverts.

alcazar 30 June 2015 02:57 PM

See, THIS is why we shout "MODS!!!", instead of just posting.
And even then...nowt.

No mod input since 28/06.

**jay** 30 June 2015 03:00 PM

Yip page is littered with them thinking of stopping paying if they dont remove them

I'm still waiting for resolution on the other forum working issues I posted on the thread in the policy section well over a year ago. These STILL haven't been fixed.

Now I check it seems the faults are still there and the site doesn't work properly any more, but the easier way to resolve the issues raised was to delete my thread???????

Why would you do this please mods?

I've checked and checked but my thread with unresolved issues has now been deleted. I think it was called: user CP bug today? Started some time around May/June last year? Gone completely now and not 1 of the issues raised has been fixed.

Yep, this is the link to my deleted thread

https://www.scoobynet.com/1012745-us...g-today-2.html

Have to say I'm not best pleased.

It doesn't matter if you're pleased or not.
You're only one of the minions this forum was created for after all :D

I'm not usually one to moan about the forum but.....

I'm a member of a few different forums and Scoobynet is by far the most p1ss poor at general forum maintenance/house keeping....It takes literally weeks to get anything resolved, its crazy.
