Cyclist vs Discovery
I haven't laughed this much in ages. It's like a scene from a very bad Brit gangster flick :lol1: :lol1:
PS If you are offended by swearing do not watch LOL! |
His name is Jason Wells he owns a chain of cafes in London, Brew Cafe! You are advised to steer clear in case you offend him :D
What a dangerous muppet he is. Fined £90 for public order offence and likely cost him thousands in lost business from social media reports. Funniest comments I have seen 'tough guy in a cat suit' |
Is it a comedy :wonder:
|
I really don't see how you can get this upset by a cyclist.
However, having read some comments on a facebook group it seems he does have people who sympathise with him. .....as we will probably read here. |
Typical thicko "more cash than brain cells" southerner.
|
He has a point though even if his articulation of said point is utterly indefensible.
His apoplexy makes me laugh as does the cyclist shouting abuse until he comes back for second confrontation whereupon he seems to lose his bravado. Good job the cyclist had the camera as otherwise I think the result would have been a lot worse! |
I imagine this was probably going through his mind at some point:
Driver in this video got done for attempted murder. |
I had two kids do similar the other day, passenger hanging out of the window giving it the wanker sign after cutting me up, stopped by the lights 20 yards further up the road, that brought the meek out in them.
|
Had a black range rover come too close bout year ago , only time ever been hit was white van man cresting brow hill , then only glancing push ,stayed upright though - twenty five years ago .
Haven't been wearing ' sports watch ' though ... |
Apparently he's issued an apology regarding his behaviour.
This was probably brought on by the call to boycot his businesses on the ever powerful social media sites. |
:lol1::lol1:
De de de de de you facking skirt :lol1: Further up north one of two things would of happened 1 the bike would of gone through his rear screen 2 that camera would of been rammed up his ass So remember boys and girls...... Get in that facking cycle lane you caaaants :lol1: |
I chased a driver two weeks after he had me off into the nettles while raging in his Nissan on a country lane.
Sadly he didn't count on a freaky, number plate remembering bloke and took a while to "remember" the incident. He tried being cocky at first but soon melted and apologised. A lot. |

Its easy to see what happened here - his earphones have become detached from his ipod, which was replaying his anger management podcast and boom!!!
Why do angry little men drive Range Rovers / Discos - I had this happen once where the chap in the Disco remained in the outside lane as signed roadworks approached which required all traffic to drive in the nearside lane. He was intent on pushing into a space which wasn't there in front of me, I beeped my horn as his actions forced me to brake. I could have let him in, but having seen him use the overtaking lane to overtake in the lead up to the road works choose not to. He jumped out of his car and decided to make a spectacle of himself effing and blinding in the pouring rain. I had the last laugh on that one, as I think his car key and a front door key was either caught on his coat or wasn't properly in his pocket, but he dropped it as he stormed back to his vehicle and sped off. I picked it up and disposed of it appropriately feeling slightly smug at fact this twit would not be able to lock his car where ever he parked it, and hopefully having switched off his ignition, would realise he couldn't restart it! I was subsequently told that RR and Disco's display a message on the instrument display if the key is out of range of the vehicle, if that is true, he perhaps would have noticed had he been calmer! |
I wouldn't , total waste imho , most cycle lanes iv seen are maintained but badly thought out
Cycle on the road take your space and don't take the pass. You'll get toerags / insecure people whatever |
The real crime is his dress sense.
He actually looks worse dressed than a cyclist - quite a feat. |

I do wear cycle wear but the only lycra in sight is the back of my gloves - even that's too much. |

Which leads slightly to the question; why do motorbike riders feel the need to dress to match their bikes?

Yes, but you're normal, there is a section of these people who are frankly a bit bloody odd! Maybe they don't have a mirror. :lol1:
I've overhead blokes saying they look good in lycra - I have to stop myself commenting... A shapely female on the other hand... |

There is a cycle path Nextel to the road. Yes I know everyone will say they are poorly maintained etc. etc. but I think given the choice between a poorly maintained path or chancing getting creamed by the traffic I'd take the poorly maintained path, but then unlike a lot of cyclists I have some common sense.
No one seemed to be on it, even cyclist on that side of the road But the Discovery was way to close And cycle lanes do NOT equal safety The one in the middle of the road - on Westminster bridge has been directly responsible of several cyclist deaths |

A lot of cycle lanes only appear for several hundred yards and generally poorly maintained, have street furniture in them. The road detritus gathers on these paths and makes cycling a puncture lottery.
Cyclists are entitled to ride on roads and be given the common courtesy not to be pinned against the kerb by kn0b head drivers with severe anger issues. The driver in the link actually clipped the cyclists with his mirror, that is how close he was to knocking him off. Anyone who thinks to question cycling on the road as opposed to poor quality cycle path and try and justify this behaviour as okay, is a moron |

The Cyclist was up his own arse shouting "Move Your Car". TBH, the driver showed a lot more restraint than me. I'd have shoved the bike up his Arse.
|
Ive always said anyone who wants to drive a vehicle should first have a period of riding a bike if able to. It certainly makes you more observant and also gives future drivers an inkling of life in the bike saddle
