braking problem!!!

hi guys, put my new discs and pads on my 98 classic last week, and i just got my new exceedy clutch in my car this week, so thought i would go out to run it in, before the drag race event coming up on saturday, been out 2 or 3 times now since they were put on, and before going home i was doing about 135mph along a straight:Whatever_, and when i put brakes on to slow down, the whole car just threw me on the otherside of the road, & there was a shudder coming threw the steering wheel, its like for that split second i had no control of anything, the car just wanted to go from side to side,:(

any advise of what to look out for?? surely new discs & pads wouldnt do that??

Sounds like hub or disc run out or a caliper problem, seized caliper sticking pot etc...i would go with my first choice though as you have just fitted the brakes.Did you have the problem prior to fitting the new set up?.SJ.

Basics first , have you bedded the discs and pads in properly , they never work 100% until you have gone through this process , especially braking hard from 135 , it could do this
