VF28 turbo, STI injectors, PPP sports cat, STI up pipe

10 Attachment(s)
I was going to fit these parts to my blobeye wagon but it has since been sold so they are now up for grabs. I'm located in Newcastle if you'd like to collect but everything can be posted if necessary.

Please PM for more info/offers etc :thumb:

VF28 ball bearing turbo - £220

There is no play in the shaft and there are no cracks around the wastegate housing (I've tried to show this as best as possible in the last photo). One of the studs could do with replacing though.

any ideas what kind of power a VF28 is capable of? and what model did the VF28 come on originally?

Deej 29 May 2015 03:18 PM

The general consensus on here is up to about 330bhp with the right supporting mods. I was going to get a VF35 but after a discussion with Alyn at ASP decided to go with the VF28 due to the ball bearing design improving spool.

I believe it was fitted to the V5 STI.

Cheers

Dave

Got a VF28 in my sti 5 wagon, makes a lovely turbo on a 2l engine. imho 330bhp with this turbo in a classic makes for a fantastic drivers car on the road, way more enjoyable than a TD05 16G for example.

The VF28 was the standard turbo on the P1.

Don't think PMs are restricted when you are new but I'm not certain. Either way I'm afraid the turbo has been sold to the first guy that responded, thanks for your interest though. :thumb:
