Photoshop heal/clone size

Normally when healing or cloning you get a circle for the px size you've set. Here you can see I've whacked it up to 321px, it should be a large circle that fills the screen but no matter what size I change it to it's still a cross-hair.

Sometimes restarting resets it but often not which makes it unusable. Driving me nuts, any ideas?

Do you have Caps Lock on? yes, I'm being serious! From what I remember, if you have Caps Lock enabled it shows what they term as "precise cursors", ie; the crosshair. Disabling Caps Lock should then show you the normal large circle cursor.
