The £50k 22B has arrived

Ok, it's £150 shy, but is this the highest asking price for one?

means nothing, what someone thinks a car is worth and what it sells for is often miles apart.

never sell apart from shill bidding from their mates.

Scoobynets boring without him

It's not even a UK 22b so most would say it's worth less than a 22b UK version.

I think they were £50k when new so the £50k 22b has been here for some time.:thumb:

Imagine what you could turn your Type R into for £30k.

Have you been a guest of the queen in a bed and board facility for the past few weeks? Welcome back! :)

Kosy 12 May 2015 02:02 PM

Yes but what will the Type R be worth in 10 years?

The 22B is a collectors car now like the E30 M3 (some of which fetch well north of £50k), RS500, CSLs etc.

For me it's a £35-40k car but it won't be long before they are £50k.

You'd probably get your money back at least in 10yrs if you threw £30k at a Type R, not that I'd care TBH I'd be afraid to drive the 22b for fear of bending it or parking dings which would take all the fun out of it for me, and no point owning it if all your going to do is look at it and think how much it's going to be worth in a few years, much rather have something I can drive and have some fun in.

Kosy 12 May 2015 02:11 PM

I agree to a point ditch. That 22B will be stuck in a collection somewhere to maintain its value.

I wouldn't buy one to drive either, thousands for wings, front bumper etc. You would be mad to buy it to drive when a type R will give you 95% the experience for a fraction of the cost.

However as a collection piece / investment it takes some beating.

Quality reply as usual from the resident English teacher :lol1:
You thick fcuker

MattyB1983 12 May 2015 05:57 PM

22B is the most iconic and most valuable impreza ever made. Mint low mile ones are worth huge money, maybe not quite 50 large but it won't be many more years.

Yes you could throw 30k at a type r and it would be a serious motor, it'll always just be a chaved up type r though.

huzzy1 12 May 2015 07:18 PM

Don't get me wrong, I love the 22B but I'd rather have my RA.
