Is there a cat in the uppipe on the hawkeye sti 2.5? Cheers.

I think there is, albeit a small one. I've heard removing the uppipe unleashes masses of power. Probably need a map to suit though.


I wouldn't have a clue on what uppipe to replace it with.....but many here will!

nope - no cats in the STI uppipe. You get a power bump with a fancy schmancy harvey type uppipe but the standard one is good enough for most needs.

Only the 2.0 Newage WRX had an uppipe cat. :)

Correct , standard UK hawkeye,s have no cat in the uppipe !

as above RWX 2.0 new-age from 01-05 have the "pre-cat" no other model has ever been fitted with them

a nice Harvey Smith "trick" up-pipe always helps regardless :norty:

Just to pinch the thread a minute..

I assume the hawkeye has a cat in the downpipe?? Can you get a sports cat for it?

yeah hawk has a cat in the downpipe and yes you can get a sports cat for them :)

new-age cars have a 2pce d/pipe with primary & secondary cats.........
