Not to encourage excessive speed, purely to preserve sanity and not "get caught" slightly above the limits. ;)
Which of the above should I go for ?????????? |
FOK. What's a geodesy?

Origin, as it gives readable info off an LCD screen. Care though, these things can take some tim to lock onto the satellites that allow them to work properly.
However once up and running this is a superb piece of kit. OBTW I use one. WB |
I use an Origin too. It comes recommended. IMHO, far better than Morpheous.

...or look at www.trafcam.com if you've got/want a Palm or similar PDA with a GPS attachment...

Check out the new one called Road Angel its reviewed on ukspeedtraps website it gets better ratings than the others. I am tempted to get one.

Got an Origin Blue on Friday and then went up to Middlesborough and back. I have a radar detector aswell but thought as there are lots of Truvelo cameras up north I better get extra protection. A very useful bit of kit.
The Road Angel looks good aswell. Check out www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk for more info on all of the detectors. |
I've been using the Geodesy for a couple of weeks. Very good for the simplicity, very effective at what it does. Only drawback I've found is that it doesn't have the directional feature of the blue-i. This means that you'll be alerted to cameras on the other side of the road. Some people claim to have been done this way, though I always thought otherwise. If you're driving along a dual carriage way, this can be annoying, but may be worthwhile on single lanes where you might feel at risk from cameras on the other side of the road.

Read my short review - I can't be bothered to type it out again. :D
