Can the turbo run DV-less, some don't like it? What are you running? Classic or newage?

Someone on here was making them a while ago.

Yep, that will most certainly be ok DV-less then.

There was definitely someone on here making and selling them at one point. Will have to do a search.

P.s. car sounds lovely!

Thats basically what i done except used a small thin alloy sheet from B&Q, traced around the oe valve, cut to shape, drill 2 small holes then place inbetween the i/c and the oe valve..Job done...

Done it to mine some time ago but soon got fed up of the noise(too loud) lol.

Yes!! nailed it :)

I sold one of for a £1 one day on ebay plus postage for a laugh. it was that, a piece of tin cut to shape!

o aye, and place it between gasket & existing dumpvalve

rb5 stu 25 April 2015 12:52 AM

Yes it just slides in between the dumpvalve and intercooler. Works perfectly and you cant see it. Ive had mine like that for years.

You dont even need to cut it and drill holes in it. I cut it to about the size of a two pound coin , loosen the two bolts a bit and slide it in between and retighten the bolts. Two min job. The bit that actually needs blocked is only a small hole, its not the size of the dumpvalve.

Cheers for the replies guys!!

Think I'll just bodge it with a steel plate between stock DV for tuesday then and then get a real solution on order from Whitenoise.

Thanks for the help

Tom
