JDM Impreza timelines

Hi folks,

As some of you may know I've been working on a definitive timeline for the JDM cars. The GC8/GF8 version has been finished for a while, but I've now finished the GD/GG timeline too.

Here are the two:

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline-gd-gg/

If anyone has any questions or spots any mistakes please let me know:thumb:

Looks good Dean, You may want to check the Spec-C Hawk, Hawk V-Ltd, S204 and RA Applied model codes as you have them down as GDA ;)

Gaz.

Always wondered why this page had never been done! Superb job there Type-RA, well done. Looking fwd to the individual specs being updated at some point as there's some versions I wasn't aware of, for instance the Bug STi limited & Version S & the Blob WRX WR Ltd.

I have to mention the Bug WRX Euro Spec (wagon) though, which I didn't know existed, apparently designed by Porsche, has to be the ugliest Impreza bar the S201!

Thanks again

Thanks very much:)

It has been "interesting" & expensive getting the correct info, but we are getting there:thumb:

I've now started on the GH/GR cars:

would you be able to tell me what mine is from the chassis number ? As i am not 100% sure i know its a Blob JDM STi , but would be interested to see where it fits on the timeline

Its around a 2003 reg ( on a 52 plate )

The Pink Ninja 21 April 2015 06:58 PM

GDB revision 'C' , MY03 Sti, You have a plate on the top of you passenger strut top, That has the applied model number on but if it's an early JDM Blob Sti it should be GDBC4EH.

Dean the MY03 Spec-C ltd model is also a 'C' ;)

The VIN number is ideal, but the model code & option code will also do:thumb:

I've now updated the GC8/GF8 timeline so it (should) work correctly on mobile devices & the model pics should be viewable correctly:

Just a quick question/maybe a mistake I don't think the 98 v4 sti has dccd?

LSherratt 07 February 2016 10:02 AM

Always find the timeline really helpful, many thanks!

I'm not certain but New classic STis in Japan somethings like quicker rack, dccd and abs were optional. As ECU bandwidth could only manage ABS or DCCD not both.

STi V4 doesn't have DCCD unless it's the RA version. Did you find a mistake on the timeline? If so, please let me know & I'll fix it:thumb:

Hi folks,

I've finally found a layout for the timelines that I'm happy with and so have used the same layout for all three timelines.

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline/

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline-gd-gg/

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline-gh-gr/

All the models up to MY08 are in now & the mobile friendly version is working as it should.

I've also got a mobile friendly version of the individual car pages, but so far only a few of the early cars are in there:

It's been a while since I updated, but here are the updated timelines for the JDM cars:

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline/

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline-gd-gg/

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-timeline-gh-gr/

I'm hoping to finalise up to MY18 but it's proving a bit tricky....watch this space:thumb:
