RIP Richie Benaud
A fantastic commentator and another part of my childhood/growing up gone for good watching the Ashes as a kid on BBC and listening to everything he had to say. I never saw him play as he was well before my time but as a commentator his voice will always be one of the greats in sport commentry :notworthy

I can only echo what you've said above
I'll be listening to the "12th man" in his honour on the way home from work tonight, Marvelous ! |
Rip. A great commentator who was a joy to listen to. His calm, balanced delivery always added an extra dimension for viewers. Great personality and charisma.
