Does the V6 interior fit V2 cars?
I've recently bought a black leather interior, seats and doorcards from a V6 wagon (might have been a V5, not sure :wonder:). The seats fit fine however the doorcards came without any of the switches and the previous owner doesn't have them anymore. I'm asking if I track down some switches to fit the door cards, how simple a task is it to fit them to the car (door cards to doors and switches to the rest of the loom) and also what should I be paying for them? Would it work out cheaper to just re-trim my current door cards to match the seats?
My Scoob' is a '95 JDM V2 WRX Wagon :D Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom!!! :notworthy |
Seats will fit, REAR doorcards MAY, fronts won't, the gaps between dash and door are all wrong.

Thanks, saved me some hassle, re-trim the old ones it is then :-D

what colour is your existing door card trim?
before retrimming them, you could mask off the plastic and use a light dusting of black spray paint to turn the material black. It might look tidy and if it doesn't go for leather retrim (or alcantara ) |
Thanks, good idea on the paint, I've re-painted leather trim before, but the only way I can describe this is its like carpet, the hard wearing stuff that gives you carpet burns ;-) So painting won't do :-( I'll have a look at alcantara though, hadn't thought of that, cheers!
