Fitting STI TMIC!?
 

Hi everyone.

As the title says, I am going to attempt to fit an STI TMIC on my98 Terzo.

I have read lots of posts but I am wondering what is the best thing to do with regards to the mounting brackets?

The IC I picked up has had the front dump valve mounting plate welded and a BOV pipe welded on to the rear right corner (see pic)

When I sat the new IC on top of the old one to check how it would all line-up neither the left or right brackets are anywhere near the right location.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I think you'll need a new bracket. I installed one on my 2006 WRX and it didn't line up completely. Managed to get one screw hole lined up (rather than the two on the right hand side) and secured that way. Hasn't moved an inch since.
