Should a small detail, such as being CAT C not be mentioned in the ad?

Add has been updated got nothing to hide

The Trooper 1815 02 April 2015 12:16 PM

Having seen the car on numerous occasions its straight and was all cosmetic repairs.

Good punt even if it was bought to break or as a track/road rally toy.

RedScoob 02 April 2015 12:26 PM

Any photos?

Cat C means the car sustained damage costing more than the car is worth, writing the vehicle off. So how much was the car worth in 2007 when it was only 5 years old?
Even if it was worth £6000, thats an awful lot of damage to sustain, not 'just cosmetic'.

Easy to say 'dont let it put you off' but when you look at it as above then most people will want to go into detail with regards to what was damaged and repaired etc.

Mate......do us all a favour and fcuking jog on.
I for one have had numerous cars on the list and as long as I see photos of the damage / repair it makes no problems in buying .

This one seems perfect for you.....it's cheap

Barxy 12 April 2015 07:32 PM

:luxhello: okay then !!
I was doing people a favour actually by letting them know how much damage a 4 year old car thats been Cat C'd has probably had, not just a small bit of cosmetic damage.
Sick of sellers who try and hide things!
But whatever dude !
