Re: Any recommended garage

Hi Guys,

I have a 2.5 WRX Hawkeye, and am experience problems with the engine (overheated and now knocking).

Does anyone have any recommended garages or mechanics in the west london area.

Thanks

Subaru 4U and Slowboy Racing, you won't go wrong with either of them, not used them personally but both have a good reputation on here.

DON"T take it to some "local mechanic" you need a specialist that knows these engines inside out.:thumb:

Oh and don't drive it and prepare yourself for a £3k bill.

I haven't used anyone yet. Still trying to source a decent replacement engine. Ive spoken to Richard a couple of times over the phone and he has asked me to just find a replacement as opening my current engine wont be worth it.

Once I get one, I shall be taking it to him

Cheers

What are you looking for engine wise?
Short or long?
2.0 or 2.5?
