Need Help!!!!

I have a 2005 Impreza STI Widetrack and have being having the common issues with knocking susspenion on front and back for some time now..looking to replace for coilovers but see so many mixed reviews i dont know which way to go!! also the widetrack seems to be a little more tricky in finding coilovers that fit.. the car is only used for day to day road use so dont want horrific ride quilty if possible looking to spend up to a grand..thanks

I have a widetrack with BC coilovers with a 5/4 spring rate and there as if not more comfortable as the stock suspension. Only problem I think they may be to soft. I may change the springs for 6/5.

Yeah cheers for that I looked at bc's heard some good reports. Untill I spoke to Scooby clinic who said they wernt designed for European roads and would only last around 2 years?? Could be nonsense!! They recommend teins as bilnsteins are so expensive... Another company who specialise in scoobys and Evos GR performance recommended another brand but can't rem what they were called lol

I've had Bilstein on previous cars and there very well made. Can't vouch on the life of the BC's yet only had them since October no problems so far tho.

You won't go wrong with Bilstein B14's as long as they are set up properly. Great for British roads. If you could stretch to B16's then they are the best.:thumb:

I put the prodrive Bilsteins in front of my hawk sti and grease packed the rears. That was 2yrs ago and haven't had a knock or rattle since, prodrive Bilsteins make some difference to the front for daily driving on uk roads just pity you can't source rears anymore. Fronts come up regularly on ebay for 200 a pair new and are a bargain
