Fuel prices creeping up again?

6p a litre increase here in the last two weeks. :(

So is crude going up again?

Or are the oil companies, who make no money from selling petrol anyway, and who the government reckon AREN'T ripping us off, simply forcing prices up again?

( thank goodness )

Crude has risen a little, but the wholesale petrol price has risen more and it is this that affects the pump price more than the price of crude.

Wholesale price available on this report:

Never surprised with Rip-Off Britain, never.

Just intrigued as to how little coverage there has been.

I'm actually quite glad as there is no doubt had they stayed lower that at some point in the election campaign Osborne would have tried to say he was part way responsible for the cheaper fuel. This way he can't use it as an election tool :thumb:

oil has gone up slightly, but it did that in one jumpt then has been holding aroudn $60 a barrel. The prices at the pump went up the day after it jumped to $55, took weeks to come down. cheeky feckers

To be fair, it's not just Britain, pump prices are up 0.12 Euro in the last two months across the channel too.

Shell 'V' power should be 10p a litre! For ever!

In the election campaign/budget Osborne will tempt us by freezing fuel duty!
Not that we don't get ripped to pieces by the taxes on fuel anyway lol
It's all soooooooo wrong!
