Advice: Impreza MY99 - Temp and Fuel bulb gone

Hi guys, whats the best way to get to the bulb? Is it easy to get behind?

Any guide would be appreciated. I couldn't find a link?

Cheers

One or two screws in underside of top of instrument binnacle, remove, then work surround out of place...helps if you drop the steering wheel to it's lowest.

Once that's out you'll see THREE screws holding the instruments in place, two below, one above. Use a magnetic posidrive screwdriver to avoid dropping screws into the dash:eek:

Once they are out, the whole instrument cluster pulls towards you...there is no speedo cable, just three wiring clips, which you undo and pull the instruments free.

Once out, the bulbs are in little half-turn holders, I would replace them all, I think there are five, they are W5W push fit, also called 501.

Replace as a reverse of removal, ensure wiring clips are firmly seated.

Thanks again!!
Right thats sorted... now i'm worrying though. Should all those smaller bulb slots be empty?? Look like the ones that would be engine management??

Yes, it's for DCCD and stuff we (yet again) didn't get...even though we paid £7000 MORE than the japs........
