very cheap classic sti (with roof vent)
|
I dont know about cheap, I sold a mint Version 6 STi with 80k miles on the clock for £3k back in 2010, in a decent colour:D
Your not considering it are you!!!:Suspiciou |
No mate im not..just thought it was an ok price going off todays prices
|
I suspect it's a carbon wrap and not a genuine carbon roof (but I had a real carbon fibre roof fitted to my V5 STi) as fitting a scoop would be very difficult without causing the carbon to feather/fray. Too cheap? |
Looks good to me, I'm surprised you don't bag it and turn it over for a profit, everyone else seems to be these days.
|
A very early MY00 STI Version 6 by the looks, I dont think Cashmere Yellow was available on the MY99's, though I do remember a bit of a sh1tter floating around in that colour so it would need a good check over for anyone tempted to buy it :)
The clutch start should give it away as a Version 6 :) |
Sti wing badge missing on one side ....
|
I reckon someone ruined the roof fitting the flap then wrapped it to cover the rust :)
|
3k is mega cheap for an sti with 60k on, been for sale for a while so i suspect theres more to it than meets the eye

I considered going to look at this when I was looking for a Classic, but sacked it off in the end for a few reasons... one of which being the carbon wrap, which always rings alarm bells with me. If someone thinks that kind of tat is acceptable, then I'm fairly sure that our idea of how to properly maintain a car is not going to be the same.
