V6 Type R wheel options?
Hi all,
Im just importing a gorgeous 1999 type R and wanted to know the best size/offset of well around the 17' size? Im not a fan of the modern stance look and just want some wheels that fill fill the arch more than the stock 16' rims and at the same time, don't rub or come near the arch lip! Would 17' x 7.5 and an offset 45 be OK? I don't really have much clue about offsets when changing wheel width etc, so I just want to know what your all running on your own cars?? Many thanks, John |
17x7.5 with standard offset of ET53 should fit okay on a classic. You may get rubbing with ET45.

Newage OEM 17" wheels are ET53. Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 17x7.5 is also available in ET53.

Thought the prodrive optional 18's were 45/48 will check but they don't rub.
