Just looking for coilovers and came across these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TEIN-Stree...item4190dcf126

These have to be better than BC's?

I had tein superstreet coilovers with electronic damping control with preset channels tailor made to the road condition which you are driving on I would love another set on my present hawk sti but they are a lot of money but if you have deep pockets get a set but the electronic damping is a must

Ive seen these too, what i have noticed is there is no adjustable camber top mounts, so it looks like they use the standard top mounts. Tein has got to be better than BC's

I ran a set of those once - they're OK

And yes, wouldn't be seen dead with BC's on a car of mine :)

Edit: It was Superstreets I ran (~£800)

I'm looking for a set of half decent coilovers for my spec c

Ideally I want all the bits adjustable :)

I see these on ebay and thought they was quite cheap

What's the general opinion of the HSD coilovers? They seem good value for money. my car is a daily driver and not a time attack car, though I may venture into the track at some point. :)

Will be interested to follow this thread - if they are good enough for a Spec C then they will be great for my STI Type UK

Imo, if buying new and are looking at tein's, then the mono flex are the ones to get, really good absorbing pot holes, super streets can be a bit firm but depends on spring rates chosen. (I have the super streets with edfc) and have driven in with mono flex and the flex are really good compared. About £1k to buy iirc.
However when they are a few years old they are better replacing than rebuilding as tien charge around £125 per corner which I think is rarther expensive tbh.

The thing with the Teins in the link is they are sub £600, which is BC money, though not as speced as the BCs. :)

True - you get a lot of features for your money with BC's

Another reason they are so popular
