you wouldn't see air coming in, but given that the car doesn't have much variation in fuel delivery it would use the airflow correction to sort out the difference so it would still appear as airflow adjustments. Check the filter out anyway, if the car has been sitting about who knows what crud has been stirred from the bottom of the tank and made it's way up to it.

Il double check it, mite replace again as they are only cheap.

Because I can see my afr ratios are all over the place the air cant be coming in from the fuel lines? correct?

the AFR corrections are based on the MAF reading vs the o2 sensor reading. If you have a leak *anywhere* along the ways things will get messed up. The MAF sensor reads an amount of air, the ECU looks at engine load vs RPM to determine what the target AFR should be. It injects an amount of fuel equal to the amount of air that should give the target AFR. If it doesn't get the target AFR, the correction % is stored and over time builds up into the A/F Corrections table.

The difference in results could be the maf dodgy, leak at the turbo intake, leak from a vac line, leak at the intercooler, leak at hte throttle body/IACV, maybe the intake, maybe headgasket (lifting the heads and diluting the mixture will tinker with the o2 reading out the back), maybe leak at the headers/uppipe/turbo/downpipe. Anywhere that sits between the MAF sensor and the o2 sensor could be messing you up.

If your 100% sure there are no exhaust leaks and intake leaks then it could well be a fuelling issue, maybe the injectors are opening for the right amount of time but the fuel isn't being delivered in the right quantity. Maybe that's because of a blocked fuel line, blocked injector(s), blocked fuel filter, faulty pump, blocked pump pickup, kinked fuel line, leaky fuel line.

If your only seeing the big corrections when you go on boost then the extra pressure is perhaps causing part of the problem. Maybe something opens under boost, are you able to pressurise the intake and test for leaks?

Fuel pressure also changes with boost, but if the pump is failing/fuel is leaking/filters are blocked then the extra pressure won't have the desired effect.

It's all about the big picture, the learning view only shows you part of the story you have to fill in the blanks with your own sensors (eyes/hands/ears/nostrils etc).

Where does the 02 sensor sit?

I have removed my maf sensor twice and my readings have changed each time i've done it, seems odd. I have one that will hopefully be with me today so I can swap it.

If I had a blocked injector, wouldn't the car pick up issues with a specific cylinder?

no you don't have per cylinder sensors mr, the car reads the overall amount of air passing through the maf on the way in and the overall amount of air left on the way out.

yes indeedy this looks much better mr - decent boost, good airflow, AFR looks sensible. Much healthier overall - even if you still log too many parameters!

The -2.11 and the -0.70 in the fine learning table could well be due to fuel quality. Try another supplier for 2 tanks of fuel and see if the numbers change any.

The 3.03% airflow correction is still a bit high for a standard car - maybe you still have another tiny leakage somewhere waiting to be discovered.

Ok, swapped my turbo intake pipe, what a **** job that is!!!

But I found the jubillee clip holding the original intake onto the turbo, loose! Didnt look it or move when prodded it but when i tried to undo it, was barely finger tight.

So lets see if there is any difference with the new parts on..........

aye the turbo intake pipe is a bit of crack - imagine having to replace with another stock part it's a manifold off job (or at least loosening the nuts!). Handy thing about the aftermarket ones you can just squidge them a bit to fit :D
