possible piston slap ON NEW BUILD
 
Hi there im look for a bit of advise...ive just brought my 2nd wrx..missed the frist one so much☺its a 51 plate bug with 106k on it but its had a rebuild 8k ago new pistons.. shells rods etc so the last owner told me to handle the remap its running 330 to 350bhp...goes really well..but when cold knocks abit till up to temp...any ideas thx.

Forged pistons with slightly larger clearances with generally be noisier than stock. If it quietens down when warm don't worry too much.

piston slab on cold forged build is pretty common, if it stop when up to temp dont worry about it :)

Thanks guys...i just hope its been built proper lol...guna bung some new oil in her.. any thoughts on brand rating ect..
