Will ESL help me
 

I'm having a remap soon using ESL, but I tried an SP Prodrive ecu on my v4 UK turbo, its now some how locked out my original 8S ecu.

I know that ESL disables the immobilizer function on the ecu when fitted. Will this let me use my 8S ecu so I can resell the Prodrive one?

Yes, we can convert the locked 8S, so you can sell the prodrive one and recover the money from that.

Nice thanks will it be automatically done when esl is fitted?

The mapper will have an exchange 8S ready to plug in and will take your old one away. The SP ECU can then be sold on.
