2006 WRX STI Spec D - for sale

9 Attachment(s)
Hi, I'm new to this forum however I have owned (and still do!) Subaru's for a number of years.

Very Reluctantly, due to a new puchase (Subaru of course - family one!) I am selling my Spec D.

The car comes with original sales brochures etc and FSSH.
The car is unmodified and is in excellent condition all round.
Mileage is only 36,000 miles.
5 owners, with the last one being a friend of mine.

I attended the recent Essex meet at the Rodney in January to get an idea of price. The guy's at the meet said that asking £10,500 was reasonable however I am advertising at £9,995.00 in the hope of a quick sale!

Price reduced £9,750.00 ono

The car is truly awsome...as i'm sure you'll all know.

I have attached some pic's below however should you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

Mark.

Yeah that's what did it....Init :freak3:

Braedyn 18 February 2015 09:52 PM

It's put me of and I know many others paying £500 a year on tax it's a joke

RAF1 18 February 2015 10:39 PM

I think the direct debit option 'softens' the initial blow of higher tax bracket cars. £40 odd quid a month is not much imo and wouldnt put me off buying a car like this especially when you consider how much you end up spending on fuel running the buggers..!!!

I know what your saying just breaks me as you see no return for tax. It's put me off buying any sunaru is the new tax bracket that's why I've always stuck with the 2003/2005 blob sti

Gear Head 20 February 2015 07:21 AM

I know people paying £60 a month for a post iPhone. I know what I'd rather spend the money on!

Braedyn 20 February 2015 07:24 AM

^This.
£500 may sound like a lot in one go but compared with £265 it's only £19.5 more per month.
Compared with what you would spend for petrol for any Subaru the difference is peanuts really.

scoobyreedy 21 February 2015 08:56 PM

Mines a hawk sti and in higher tax bracket didn't stop me or a lot of others here but I have the only hawk around my way and I love it good luck with sale dude nice motor

Jay Cartay 25 February 2015 02:25 PM

You surely can't just decide you'll never buy a modern performance car ever again because the tax is higher!

Riddick666 27 February 2015 10:31 AM

£500 may sound like a big lumpsum but compared with the £285 the cheaper band is, it's only £215 more, i.e. almost 3 tanks of petrol which is nothing in the big scheme of things.

Pay monthly by direct debit and you won't notice the difference at all.

Or a chocolate bar a day for a year.

I have been a proud owner of one of these cars and there better than the sti of the era having owned one of those also but found the spec-d a better car in a lot of ways plus looks like a wrx to the average joe until you put the boot down and he clock's the brakes well worth the extra road fund just to see average joe's face,
This one looks a minter and remember they only made 300.

Is that about the same amount that it would be to tax Range Rover!:cuckoo: fook that:(

The Pink Ninja 05 April 2015 11:07 AM

It's less than £10 a week ffs, get a grip lol

poolio74 05 April 2015 01:41 PM

Its £215 a year more than a 2.0. That works out at just over £4 a week more.

As Pink Ninja said, get a grip! and stop ruining his advert. :freak3:

Matt23 06 April 2015 12:23 PM

Pm me your best price on this and maybe we might be able to do a deal.
