Guess what other games he's ref'ed for us Germany 0-1 England, a few years ago and Germany 1-5 England.. IMO he's the best ref in the world at the moment and he's been given the job because of the likely hood of a nasty game.. Oh, and when he ref's we always win and I think he may just secretly like the English - lets hope anyway..

Easily the best ref. I've ever seen...but then supporting a team through div. 3 to div. 1 you see some dodgy refs! :eek: ;) :D

As a United fan (and England of course!) I love it when he refs our Champions League matches.....Definitely the best IMHO.....The FA should employ him for next season to show our guys how it should be done!

He has a fan club in denmark as well

Its not just the way he refs either, it's his presence and stature, you just dont want to mess with him in case he pulls out his ray gun and zaps you.

Then we have Paul Dirkin and David Elleray. Oh Dear!
