Caliper alternatives for wrx bugeye

Hi All, sorry if this question has been covered previously? but I have searched but didn`t find anything?

My bug has been remapped etc and I`m looking to make further upgrades, one of which is the braking, as even though I have grooved and drilled disks and good pads, the stopping power is weak!
So my question is are there any alternatives to the Subaru brembo`s that anyone has fitted to there imprezas? as it seems the Subaru brembo`s are the most expensive to buy??

I would appreciate any feedback or opinions please:thumb:

as a rough comparison, on my old golf i fitted porsche brake calipers with carriers and discs for £275 which is substantially cheaper than an impreza brembro upgrade and they had gravity bending stopping power for a 220bhp car. unfortunately anything scooby thats an sti upgrade will never be cheap... but it will be amazing, ive driven an sti and the braking difference between ie my standard wrx calipers and sti brembros are a solar system or two apart. worth the cash imo

Brembos are prob cheapest, but won't fit under your wheels, iirc Godspeed has an offer on who's, which would be a mega upgrade :-)
