Basic mods before remap?

Looking to pick up a 2003 WRX this weekend and want to start planning on the mods. The car currently only has decatted full exhaust, and a FMIC. I was wondering what are some simple basic mods to throw on it before I do a remap? Was thinking STI pink injectors, 255lph fuel pump, intake filter, and not sure what else or if I should choose those injectors.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Bigger turbo, td04 + front mount will be laggy

Thanks for the reply. This will be my first turbo car that I will personally mod. last subaru had the work done to it when i got it.

Would something like that work? Or should I be looking for something different?

Stay well clear of ebay when modding scoobs mate, easiest way to blow your car up. Do you know what tuner your going to use?

I do not know. I am close to Cambridge so I am looking for something relatively close to me.

Worth traveling for a decent tuner imo, but I'm not sure who's down that way

check if it still has the uppipe cat - if so get it out and add the fuel pump then you'll be good to go for a decent map.

next would be the turbo, injectors and STI intake manifold with TGV deletes. This opens you up to going speed density/mafless and a good bump in power too.

As far as putting it at about 325-350bhp would that do it? Or is the turbo required for that amount?

yep, turbo and other supporting mods, expect a few grand to get it done properly

one of the best sites I found to use as a shopping list mr. Look at the stage you want to be at and start getting the mods to suit it.
