That's a bit off, I really hope it's a mistake as I have a Samsung TV and it's great, my second one from them in fact.

If it's true then what's next, put you on hold while they play an advert on your phone?

Nothing new: Panasonic introduced pop-up/banner adverts on their smart TVs...that was back in 2013.

Thankfully it can be turned off on teh Pannys...although the settings to do this are well hidden in the menus
