Speak to scoobyclinic mate, there currently building one so sure can spec to suit.

Playsatan 05 February 2015 03:16 PM

Not that I'm thinking of selling mine but how much would expect something like that to go for these day? I've been off the scene for quite a while and I'm out of touch with prices.

Tidgy 05 February 2015 03:18 PM

how long is a piece of string? spec of build, other mods, condition etc etc

10k+ i would of thought for a decent one

List your spec mate, it really is all down to that, really needs all the top gear to command the money tidgy is talking.

Playsatan 05 February 2015 05:18 PM

Not sure I can remember all the small stuff, I'd need to go through a couple of boxes worth of receipts. I guess the main stuff is,

99 Type R
70k (I think)
Brand new ej22t installed about 5k ago, brand new as in box fresh, unran
Stroker build to 2.33 with cp pistons, pauter rods, axis crank, race bearings
Lateral rotated pipework with gt30/40r
Lateral fmic and rad
Rotated inlet and pipework
-6 fuel setup with twin pump supply
Simtek ecu (do they still call it that?), avcr
PPG straight cut transmission, billet selectors, dccd, quaife atb, 3.9 diffs, twin plate clutch
Volk TE37 17's and R888's
AP 6 pots
Ohlins struts
Plus all supporting mods and a million other things (defis, arbs, magic tree etc)

Based on previous dynos and boost/injector duty cycle I's say power is somewhere around the 550 mark. It ran flat 11's the last time I had it out so that would put it in that ballpark.

Deanamoore 05 February 2015 05:22 PM

Tidgy that car is not for sale anymore, that is my new project.but it will be a type r with over 450 bhp when it's finished

Tidgy 05 February 2015 05:32 PM

Deanamoore 05 February 2015 05:36 PM

Well that sounds sweet and all the right parts too, that's a £12/15k car but probably worth more in bits, depending on the details of the bit's and bobs. difficulty is going tobe finding someone that recognises the value but I'd say £12k all day.

There's a white one with a claimed 500+ one up for £12,700 at a dealer on AT. Was previously advertised on here.
