1999 Impreza STi Rempa, confused.com

Morning All,
I'm a little bit confused, I've got a 1999 Impreza Sti v5. As far as i'm aware its EcuTek, which will obviously require a license. Apparently it can be re-mapped via open source.... Any thoughts people?
Thank you. :thumb:

really up to you. im not a big fan of open source due to lack of support for mappers, also anyone can download the software and do it.

But like most things you takes your choice you pays your money.

Personaly very few mappers i would use and i would only go ecutek or aftermarket ecu

Appreciate your comments. I wouldn't let a mapper 'wannabe' touch my car :-/ But I would be quite happy for a well known mapper to open source the car. But then again, I'm not sure if the well known mappers do OS.

Hi there

Yours ECU cannot be mapped via OS.you have few options like EcuLabs or EcuTek,they cost similarly, but EcuLabs have few more options, please have look on this

http://eculabs.com/

Second option is go with aftermarket ECU,but this will cost you more, really depends on target and budget

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura
