Garrett GT3071R Stock location turbo

I have a GT3071R turbo that I was going to use on my type r build but have now gone a different direction so its no longer needed.

I will upload pics later tonight as i'm out today.

Not sure on mileage, it has been looked at by a couple of people who've confirmed its in good condition (racedynamix). Tiny amount of side to side movement while theres no oil in it as it a ball bearing turbo, zero front to back movement.

Comes with a BRAND NEW fitting kit, this includes braided water/oil feeds, washers, banjo bolts.

76mm inlet side, I was going to make a custom intake pipe using intercooler pipework and collars but as I say, i've now gone for something different.

Well respected turbo that I chose to get me over 400bhp but I've not run it on my car as its still being built so have no realworld bhp figure.

Price wise, I'm going to ask for £650 as I think this is fair BUT I need the following for my car so may be able to do a px with cash my way.

18" PFF7's, Inovit Redlines/Aksunas, Front Brembos, 2.0 headers and 3" decat exhaust system

I'm in Grantham, Lincolnshire or can post via insured UPS for £25 standard uk (highlands/islands/europe will be more). This is because the delivery costs £12 and the insurance for a £700 (loss/damage) is £9 + packaging.

Nice spooling turbo, would work best on a 2.5 with instant spool and still good on a 2.0 afaik

Sorry lads I can't comment on what it runs like on a 2.5 as I've never run it on one.

Reason I chose it was because they got great reviews for spool and power.

I've taken pics, I'll try and upload when I get home

bustaMOVEs 24 January 2015 01:05 PM

I've got one for my 2.0 build, will see how it performs.

450ish maybe a tad more

bustaMOVEs 24 January 2015 10:37 PM

Rated upto 475hp

TypeR99 24 January 2015 11:37 PM

I rated it to up to 450 on a 2.0, 475 on a 2.5 or 500+ on meth mix

Melly 24 January 2015 11:47 PM

Has it a had a weld repair around the actuator area as it looks quite poor.

Cheers,
Melly

TypeR99 25 January 2015 09:33 AM

Thats how the actuator is mounted because the gt isnt a subaru specific turbo. You're welcome to take the actuator off and clean up the weld once you buy it if its not cosmetically pleasing enough.

hello is the turbo still for sale if so whats your best price

TypeR99 26 January 2015 09:40 AM

Yes its still available and I think i'm being pretty fair with the price but might take a SENSIBLE offer.

TypeR99 27 January 2015 10:37 AM

TypeR99 28 January 2015 08:07 AM

Price drop, need this gone so I can buy more stuff

TypeR99 29 January 2015 10:38 PM

offers?

Rickw10sti 30 January 2015 12:55 AM

400?? And I will collect? Would this be a relatively easy fit to a 04 blob sti 2.0?

stonejedi 30 January 2015 05:06 AM

I would think it should run Superb on a 2.5 as i was running a similar Garrett turbo on my 2.0L and it was not to bad at spooling up at all.SJ.

TypeR99 30 January 2015 09:40 AM

Thats for the offer but i'm selling it, not giving it away. If you only have £400 to spend a VF35/43 might be better for your budget

Andyrad 30 January 2015 10:47 AM

How much you take?

Rickw10sti 30 January 2015 11:44 AM

500?

TypeR99 30 January 2015 12:21 PM

I'll do £600 delivered on it because the shipping + insurance on a £500+ item is likely to be around £25.

This is the cheapest GT30 stock location turbo around, especially as it has a brand new garrett fitting kit.

I'm not in a mad rush to sell it, I could just use the £ to offset costs on other items I need for my build
