Repairing a cracked spoiler..

I bought a WR rear spoiler a while back for my RB5 however when it turned up it was cracked and damaged in numerous places. Before anyone says return it or contact the seller etc, I did and he was very good and refunded me a good amount of the price I paid to go towards the materials for the repair.

After checking it over the spoiler is repairable and considering how long I have been looking for this spoiler, returning it was not on my radar.

Anyways my question was has anyone ever attempted this sort of repair before and if so what materials did you use?

I have researched that David's ISOPON Metalik (two component multi-functional paste used for the filling of holes & imperfections in most substrates) is the best choice however I wasn't sure if it would be better to go with the Glass fibre kit he offers or not.... or perhaps both?

I have posted on the Facebook page too.

Any advice is much appreciated.
