Potential track day llandow

WLadies and gents think it's time SWS proved what we an do on the track (and any other club if they want)
Just getting an idea of numbers and dates. Think a weekend is best for all and speaking to the lads from last weekend the full day was £95 but apparently the Scooby used a lot of fuel so bare this in mind. there is a cafe on site which caters for all all needs there's loos but apart from that it's a real car enthusasts day cold in the winter but very hot when the suns out.

Right we are looking to book this now and Matt has arranged llandow to hold the slot until the end of the month. So please can we pay the money into my PayPal before the 28th Jan the cost is £106 for the whole track day. Now please pay into elliotmoss@btinternet.com as a gift and state name, username and car reg so there is no confusion. Anyone not payed by the 28th misses out. If we don't get enough payed up then we will have no choice but to cancel. I'm sorry to be so harsh but we can't risk getting bit. If any of you don't know me and are unsure please feel free to contact me on 07572214027.
At this point I feel a disclaimer should set. Any person attending or going on the track do so at their own risk. At no point will we take any responsibility for anyone acting up or creating any damage. We are merely facilitating the track day via llandow circuit and scoobynet South Wales region. Any person going on the track does so at their own risk. It is always a good idea if you have never been on the track to look at track insurance but this isn't a legal requirement and completely your choice, but we the facilitators take no responsibility for any incidents. I hope that clears a few things up. On a lighter note I hope this goes well and we get it booked up and have a great day.

As soon as dates are said let me know, can I bring my track car rather than my wrx with milk bottle top brakes lol

big daz2 04 January 2015 06:00 PM

Yes mate bring any car you wish to put on the track. Whatdatessuit you March? Or another

Peter Pan 04 January 2015 06:13 PM

March would be to early for a run out in the 205 after clouting a gate post on the last night rally I did but I'm up for that in the Subaru and the wing wong ditch finders will make for a fun day coming out of that bottom bend I'm sure :thumb:

big daz2 04 January 2015 06:33 PM

When will the 205 be ready then jay? I just want to run the hatch and see what she can do

gregwill 04 January 2015 07:25 PM

depending what date in march I should be good for this!!! never been on the track and its always been something I would like to do :thumb:

Not sure as yet fella? It's been stripped down ready for repair then it's got to go to the paint shop, new set of tyres as it's sitting gravel tyres. I've got a pile of work on over the next few weeks or so and I'm trying to work my through quite a few jobs that need doing on the blob.
Not in a rush to get it done but I wouldn't mind doing a few track days in it at some point.

big daz2 04 January 2015 08:20 PM

We need to do a few track days anyway mate so do scoob in March then 205 later in the year

matscooby 04 January 2015 09:15 PM

I'd look to book it for the 21st mate, the following weekend is booked already for the activity days.

Of course, i'll be there in one way or another :-)

March be good depending on date as I'm at combe that month also I believe

DYL 4N 05 January 2015 06:36 PM

Yes please
Got a date to finish the car now lol!!!

big daz2 05 January 2015 10:00 PM

Right gents March is all booked up looks like they have a date in April but Matt who very kindly contacted them is waiting to hear from them. So based on 30 cars it'll be £90 a car which is all day track and includes a paramedic (just in case) so what do you boys think to that and do you think we could get 30 cars. We could have up to 40 cars which will reduce the price but means less track time. Myself and Matt have done them before and 30 cars is ok means you get just the right time of track time. If we decide to go ahead we will need to take money upfront as its payment in full prior to the track day. As soon as we get the date I'll check in with you boys and we'll go from there.

The Trooper 1815 05 January 2015 10:27 PM

Daz,

You will have to open this to all the forums to get 30 cars. Many will say yes, not pay and you'll never hear from them again. I think it was Calvin who got burnt last time and ended up out of pocket.

You may need to post it on Type RA etc and try for a weekend as you will get more takers.

Peter Pan 05 January 2015 10:46 PM

Like Captain has said, you don't want to end up getting burnt as you know people as always will pull out. I honestly don't mind paying the £95 even if it's up front or a good deposit???
Maybe get up a provisional date and get a list up and running and see how many come up with the payments by a set date so then you know for deffo who'll will turn up, if numbers are low then can we be added to March or even the next date??

matscooby 06 January 2015 01:23 PM

All posted on the type ra forum, if you know of any others, spread the word
