new parts arrived whats next
 

hi all iv finally got some upgrade parts for my 2001 bugeye wrx iv got walbro fuel pump, pink injectors, sti tmic, k&n panel filter, and a td05 16g turbo my question is once fitted will the car still drive so I can take it to get mapped as someone told me it will run piss poor ?

It will most likely run ok although a bit on the rich side.
To be safe just drive it off boost until you get it mapped.

be careful driving, even off boost. it will run rich and could cause bore wash.

I fitted similar parts to you (but vf35 and decat) and I drove 20 miles to get mine mapped

are you gonna fit a decat up-pipe too? only about £30

yup you'll need headers or an sti uppipe in there too as the uppipe cat will destroy your new turbo in no time!

I have a similar setup, there is quite a bit of difference in fuel flow and air flow with those injectors and turbo so I wouldn't drive it on boost at all with all this kit fitted unmapped.

is there anyone nearby with an openport cable could change the injector settings for you after you fit them?
