Which petrol for my classic turbo 2000

Which petrol should i put in my '00 turbo 2000. It has a chip and a bigger turbo...should i put normal or super unleaded/momentum/nitro.thanks

Not knowing which fuel it has been mapped for, assuming it has been remapped, i wouldn't put anything less in than Shell Nitro+.

Which turbo and chip does it have?

Super unleaded
Tesco or shell

95 Ron :lol1:

Best to put shell Nitro as you don't know if it's been mapped.

As said above Shell V Power or Tesco Momentum 99. I have read threads on here to steer clear of BP Ultimate too so I don't use it.
I used to run a Celica GT4 on normal unleaded around 10 years ago when I was far less educated about the importance about this sort of thing.
Since owning my first RA 8 years ago I never run any performance car on anything other than what I've stated above. :thumb:

Thanks for all replies....

Was it mapped for the ecutek? (The ecutek designer is, right now, frothing at his system being referred to as "a chip":D)

It PROBABLY needs 99 or at least 98 octane fuel, so Shell V-Power, or Tesco Momentum.

But best to find out who mapped it and what it was mapped for.

What's wrong with BP Ultimate?

ADY 555 21 December 2014 08:38 PM

Ask Bob Rawle. Mappers see things we don't.
