Silicone hoses

Are there any good/bad brands??

I have a 2005 sti with DCCD, all the sites I look at have differnt specs for imprezas. Version 1,2,3 etc. and GDF..
Which one is mine?? Version 6 and GDF?

Ancillary
Coolant
Turbo

Does that cover all my hoses?

I just bought a load of swrd hoses from scoobyworx. Very impressed with the quality

Version 6 is a 99/00 model

Bugeye v7
Blob v8

Hawkeye v 9/10

Domt think they differentiated between non wide track and widetrack blobs

Samcos website states hawk as a v9

Youra would be v8

Samco only offer part kits as such which is why they don't list differences. They only offer the hoses which cover most models. Our SWRD kits cover all hoses on each model we offer a kit for our stumbling block if getting people willing to leave there car with us without hoses for around 2 months while they are replicated fitted and then any fine tuning done with them. We have just added the V5/V6 kit which is 26 pieces, I believe Samco offer a v5/v6 kit which is 15 pieces. Obviously ours covers all hoses where as theirs covers easy to fit/see hoses.

Do you have a hose set available or coming soon for the GRB model range -Hatchback WRX / WRX STi?

I'm after a full engine kit including radiator hoses.

Read the samco website

http://www.samcosport.com/uk/car_kits.asp?make=Subaru

I'm. Trying to help the guy buy hoses say he had a hawk and you told him version 10

He bought them and samco clearly state they are for a GR version

Hawk on samco website is V9

How long would you want the hoses for and how long would you take to produce the hoses?

My engine is being removed for a rebuild so you could have them for 4-6 weeks. :)

That could possibly be a go-er but it would be more likely to be 8 weeks as January is the busy time for the tool and hose makers. But you would get a free kit for supplying yours to copy.

I donated a hose to Darryll for making a silicone reinforced replacement Took a bit of time but i can assure you you wont be disappointed with what comes back. . Ive got Samco hoses on the car and the SWRD one are just as good if not better.

Good to speak to you earlier today, once the hoses are dispatched I'll PM you my details and the tracking number. :thumb:

I spoke to Darrell earlier today and I'm going to get my hoses out to him on Saturday, I'm looking forward to getting my set of silicone replacement hoses back and they will look great in my overhauled engine bay. :)
