EBay scam ?

So I list an item on eBay yesterday (MacBook Pro)
Get a message asking it's condition which I reply to and then, from the same guy, get this :
I will be paying £1,185 + p&p via royal mail next day delivery to Lewisham, SE13 7FY, can you please send me your PayPal email address so i can make out the payment.

Item was listed for £900 start price with free uk delivery included. Lots of watches but no bids yet.

Scam I assume ?

If you're happy to sell at that price, tell them you'll add a 'buy it now' price to your listing that matches his offer and see what he does. There's a lot of scammers out there so don't sell outside of ebay. Make sure you use a proper trackable courier like DPD and insure it.

I am guessing its a Scam, I would be very cautious with this, if something feels fishy it usually is.

You won't be able to send you paypal adress via ebay messaging. Tell him you'll add a bin price and he can pay that way.

Yep offered to add a buy it now price for that amount so they can buy it through the auction and not outside of it and - surprise surprise - they disappear !
Then it happens again, similar message but this one really needs to take an English class or 2.
