Set of small speakers for in the house

Can anyone advise on a decent set of small speakers that we can plug into phones/ipod/tablets etc... I'm going to mount them in the kitchen somewhere so if they also require a 240v socket then its no issue. My main concern with small speakers is that the sound quality may sound like its coming from a tin can.

Thanks

You want a wireless speaker instead. Like these http://www.richersounds.com/products...-and-portables
Bose are really good sound quality for a small speaker and some other top brand names

I bought this for £25 as well, installed it on it's side on top of the kitchen units and connect via Bluetooth from our phones for music or radio. Sound is fine for £25, I bought it more as an experiment to see if a Bluetooth speaker could replace the mini hi-fi in the kitchen - and I'd say it can.

I couldn't resist at that price, and likewise an experiment

Thought long and hard whether it was ok sound or abysmal

Hand was forced though when Bluetooth stopped working , I think I couldn't even plug in mp3

Just radio left :(

Id still have it otherwise.

Good bass, amazed the neighbours didn't say anything :norty:

I bought a Bose wireless, any apple product or pc running itunes can connect wireless to it. Also a AUX port to connect other phones. The sound is superb but they aint cheap.

I paid 25 quid for ,one , 2w 5x2x3 inch Bluetooth speaker, I'm sure it's the modern way

But I sent it back
