Hi. I don't think imprezas ever came in 3 door! They were either 2 door , 4 door or 5 door i believe

I think he means the like of the RA, P1 and so on.

Amazing what output these little engines produce these days, you'd be lucky to get 90bhp back when I was looking for one!

Welcome aboard dude, hope you find what you're looking for :thumb:

This, there's a dude selling a white v4 type r on here that I live but I really want a black one.

Anything I should look out for? And what's the diff between a p1 vs a type r?

P1 owners stick a hefty price tag on their cars as they are disillusioned that it's better than a type r..............

I don't know the difference other than most P1s I've seen come with a lot of rust!

Big-Pete 14 November 2014 10:42 AM

Type r it is!

Paulo P 14 November 2014 12:02 PM

type R's get 2 pot rear brakes and the DCCD which aren't on the P1 for starters. The type R is technically a better car out of the box.

brakes area big thing for me,

the power doesnt bother me but suspension and brakes are more important.

dccd = centre dif adjuster? hows it work? what happens?

any buyers guides??

Just bare in mind that the Type R's are all at least 14 years old now and will be a world apart in terms of the comfort and toys that you have in the Seat.

Then again, they are seriously quick cars out of the box, I don't care what anyone says!

ive had old cars,

i want an older car again, i miss it!

id just overhaul the bushes/brakes/ARB. i want something less comfortable, its far to easy to speed in the boc, with the DSG gearbox and flat tourqe curve.
