cambelt and waterpump change

I'm looking to get cambelt water pump pulleys and tensioners changed in the coming months, where is best to get the kit?

Should I use Japanese replacement parts or would somewhere like eurocarparts do a suitable kit? I only suggest them as my mate can get 45% off through his work.

I've been quoted £650 all in using jap parts. Sound about right?

Import car parts are decent prices and good quality japanese parts.

Aztec will beat icp on price for the same kit,I had a quote of around £200 for the kit including waterpump. They do advertise on here so easy to find them and they're very helpful.
That means you will be paying £450 for labour which seems pretty expensive IMO

Got a quote for £215 from ICP for everything even the water pump, are they high quality products though? The mechanic has said he will fit them £200 plus VAT. He quoted £320 for the parts.

Yes,most of their stuff is the same brand that subaru would sell but at a fraction of the price.
