The car appeared on ebay last year with a huge price tag iirc.
|
Think i remember the episode
|
I gather that is was broken, I think pistonheads did a "where are they now?" article on the Jap cars of Wheeler Dealers.
Edit - link on another website, this is it http://www.japclassifieds.com/2014/0...japanese-cars/ |
Always remember him looking underneath and saying lovely, camera shows rear diff leaking :lol1:
|
Seen it last week. It didn't look too bad but those black stripes what the ****, why they wanted to put that **** on there.
:Suspiciou :cuckoo: |
Mmmmm black pin stripes nice lol. Don't it make u go faster . Or is that the full stripped affected bonnet/ roof/ boot. Only doing the bonnet , he would loss 10mph
|
on all the time, could play the part myself..
couple of fanny's think a wrx is proper rapid:cuckoo: |
The only decent restoration show was that 'For The Love of Cars'..and of course, the American ones who seem to do things properly.
|
I'm sorry guys but if you actually have a look at where most of these cars are ending up you'd realise that a set of cnuty stripes is exactly what the general WRX buyer has in mind for their "original" project.
My Facebook newsfeed is full of them! |

then fitting nitrous on a low power wrx:facepalm:
P.s don't see how 260 bhp is a slow low powered wrx . As they are 240 bhp standard . But I am Gessing we will never see eye to eye . Even when I sm asking u for help . Thanks anyway. Think I will just take my low powered wrx I meen 2000uk as I an omly running 80 bhp and sell it . Then get your car off you . But then then next day, from u it will still be a low powered car . Dam I may just get the esl / ecu done to to shut u up. Lol. |

Well, just watched it and thought it was pretty good, but not sure what they were thinking with those stripes.
Ed's helmet was hilarious though...:lol1: |
Wheeler Dealers is OK for what it is. Of course that WRX was never going to appeal to any purists, but that is not really the aim of the show. As far as TV goes it's a reasonably entertaining 45 minutes and you can learn one or two things from it. I first saw Wicked Coatings and hydro dipping on there for instance.
|
The 1903 Darracq they tidied up for the London-Brighton was quite interesting purely on the basis you don't normally get to see someone taking the spanners to a car over 100 years old.

its better than eastenders/x-craptor/**** in the attic and crap in the basement etc etc I like fast & loud . Got to love the way the USA do cars , lots of BHP grate for strat line racing . But would not like to go round a corner in one . I take it that's why they don't have roundabouts lol. Just don't get one thing why do they have cars that have 400 ish BHP but there cars don't seem to be fast as jap car or Europe cars. I may be wrong . And there is a show called street outlaws. Have any members seen it . Grate show for a car show made in the USA . |
