Issues with Google account on Android
 

Anyone else having trouble with Google at the moment on Android? I keep getting a 'can not verify account' message on the play store and it won't sync anything to my google account either. Now to add insult to injury it won't open my emails.

Any suggestions? Bearing in mind I've already tried removing the account and adding it again and that didnt work.

How? Like I say, I've tried removing the account and deleting all related data and that's not helped life.

*ahhhhhhhhh that would be it. I've not had the wifi on in a while and it's set to only sync over wifi... :facepalm:

Dropping my google account because it's not been synced in a while? Hmmmmmm :wonder:

Well i dunno, sounds like you got into a tiswas dropping and readding the account, god knows what you did, sounds like user error to me :)

It had quite sucessfully got itself into a hissy fit before i dropped the account. The initial problem started because it was giving me an authentication error (asking me to reenter my password) when i tried to use the playstore.

Yep wrong pass entered, or thought you were connected to the net, when you weren't.... user error :)
