Changed my cars look (spoiler), what do you think?
Not a major change, but enough that I can actually see out my rear window when driving.
I have had my spare bootlid and low level spoiler sprayed up to match my car. Here she is before, all machine polished and wing fixed, this is before rally day. http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...140919_002.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...140922_002.jpg And now this is her after the bootlid change. http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...141006_003.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...1006_004-1.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...141006_005.jpg I still have the other bootlid with the high spoiler on, but fancied a change, as I do like the low level spoiler. I can also make the car look "period" as I have a set of 16 inch gold alloys, so if I wanted to I could go down that route. What you guys think? |

Gold 16's are a good idea, it's not quite to my taste with the sport spoiler, i'd have gone mid-level spoiler (the one that's just a hoop) or spoiler-less, the BMW lip spoilers look quite good too. Although I do understand where your coming from with the not being able to see out the back window, I cut the top hoop off my v6 spoiler and left just the brake light flat section as below, not a good pic but you get the idea.

I do prefer the low level spoiler... just like Chris and Gem's old WRX :)

From personal experience on running both stud less snow tyres and Yokohama AO35 gravel tyres the stud less snow tyres are going to be far better in the snow :thumb:

I definitely prefer the look with the low spoiler, it looks far more understated and less can so much of the time be more. :)
